Our Story
The Royal Ladies Ministry was birthed in prayers six years ago at Word of Faith Happy Church after we felt the need for women to come together in prayer and fellowship. We started meeting every Sunday for fellowship and a cup of tea. As we got to know each other better we started a book study/club. God started challenging us to step out and reach out to other Royal ladies outside the walls of our church. By faith, we stepped out on October 20, 2018, for our first Annual conference at the word of Faith happy church with 80 women in attendance. In this meeting, we learned two things.One, God was in it, and second, the venue was too small. Our Second Annual conference was on October 26, 2019, at Center Six One Five with about 90 people in attendance. The growth continues with three breakfast meetings and an annual conference every year. The diversity in the group is such a reminder that we have been called to reach out to all ladies regardless of their age, ethnicity or socioeconomic status with the love and gospel of Jesus Christ.
Who are Royal ladies? You are! The name Royal is an acronym. R.O.Y.A.L. stands for Real. Obedient. Yielded. Adorned. Loved. We realized that God is looking for willing/available vessels to qualify them. That is ROYAL! We stand on Proverbs 31:29, “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” We acknowledge and appreciate the gifts and talents that God has graciously placed on every woman, and we partner with God so that we can all flourish in our calling.
Vision
To reach out to women of all ages and nationalities with the love of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to encourage one another, build each other up, and equip ourselves with the gifts, talents, and skills that our Lord Jesus Christ has bestowed upon us. Our greatest desire and commitment are to see every woman live to her highest and fullest potential in God. Read Daniel 11:32b..Our international vision:
We understand outside the walls of our church, our communities, and our nation lies millions of women both in developed and developing countries, who are waiting for us to shed God’s light on their untapped potential. It is our vision as Royal Ladies to be God’s instruments, acting as a beacon of God’s unending love for them, guiding them, so that they may sparkle as God made them. In the international arena, by God’s grace through the faithfulness of our partners, we have provided a 4-year full-ride scholarship for high school to six girls. Our goal is to double that number every year.
